My Top 10 Blog Posts for 2010
David Popoff’s challenge to post our Top Ten Blog Posts for 2010 certainly got me thinking. I had quite a few blog posts which reached well over 1000 views rather quickly this year. It seems as if some of my market reports garnered more views than anything else, and I was rather pleased to see that they got at least a 10% click-through ratio.

But then, I thought about the fact that clicks means that the reader actually read the entire post, not just skimmed through the blog roll. So I also looked at which blogs generated a greater than 50% click through ratio. For this, I did not include any blogs that garnered less than 500 views. What I found interesting about this was that the majority of the posts that generated high click to view ratios were more or less hyper local posts. The lowest was 59%; the highest was at 83%.
