Science: Comes Alive in the Library

Science: Comes Alive in the Library is a program held at the Silas Bronson Library in the Children’s Room once a month.

On February 23, the Silas Bronson Library hosted “Having Fun with Fossils and Dinosaurs” featuring amateur paleontologist Paulette Morin, who with a  captivated audience of children and parents alike, told how fossils are formed, what information fossils tell us about the prehistoric past, and utilized the children in her story about the world in which dinosaurs lived.

The next Science: Comes Alive in the Library event is scheduled for March 17, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. Titled “Green Gal”, it features Tara Brophy.

Science: Comes Alive in the Library is free to all Greater Waterbury area residents, but registration is requested prior to the event.
