The East Mountain neighborhood of Waterbury, CT occupies a small area in the southeastern corner of the city. Anyone traveling to Prospect, or to New Haven, would pass through the East Mountain area via Route 69, also known as Prospect Road, which cuts the East Mountain neighborhood into two parts, with the larger portion of the East Mountain area lying to the west of Route 69.

 

The   East Mountain community in Waterbury, CT is an all residential community, consisting of a collection of colonial, cape, and assorted ranch style houses. There are a few multi-family dwellings located at the foot of the East Mountain area. There are no condominiums anywhere in the East Mountain neighborhood, as the residents of the East Mountain neighborhood have successfully rallied against proposed condo developments in the area. The majority of the homes in the area were built between 1950 and 1970, with some recent additions within the last 20 years.

Bucks Hill neighborhood in Waterbury, CT is located at the northernmost tip of Waterbury, bordering Plymouth and Wolcott.

 

The Bucks Hill neighborhood of Waterbury, CT is a residential neighborhood that consists of mostly single family homes, with a number of duplex, triplex, and 4-plex multi-family homes scattered throughout the neighborhood, and four condominium complexes all located on one of the main arteries in the neighborhood, Bucks Hill Road. Laurel Estates, a low-income family housing complex, is located on the southwest border of the neighborhood.

The Bucks Hill neighborhood of Waterbury, CT is, compared to other neighborhoods in the city, relatively new, with the majority of the homes in the Bucks Hill neighborhood having been built after 1960. The houses tend, on average, to be predominantly ranch or raised ranch homes, with a slightly lesser assortment of cape cod style homes, and an occasional colonial style home. The Bunker Hill neighborhood of Waterbury, CT is located in the northwest corner of Waterbury, CT. Anyone wishing to reach Watertown, CT can reach their destination by travelling along the Bunker Hill neighborhood’s two main arteries, Bunker Hill Avenue and Watertown Avenue. One also has easy access to Route 8 and Interstate 84 from the Bunker Hill-Waterbury, CT neighborhood.

 

Bunker Hill AvenueThe Bunker Hill neighborhood in Waterbury, CT is a largely residential area. The majority of homes are single family houses, predominantly colonial, with a lesser assortment of ranches, split level ranches, raised ranches, and Cape Cod style homes. There are a number of multi-family homes near the southern portion of the Bunker Hill-Waterbury, CT neighborhood, as well as three condo developments close to the Oakville area of Watertown, CT. The majority of the homes in this area were built before 1950, although there are quite a few newer homes as you get closer to the Waterbury-Watertown/Oakville town line.
