Waterbury, CT at Christmastime
Decorating during the holidays is a part of many towns’ tradition. I have been through many towns at Christmastime during my short life, and the displays I’ve seen range from quaint to simply majestic.
Waterbury, CT at Christmastime is beautiful. I was remarking to a friend of mine the other day how absolutely spectacular Hubbard Park, in Meriden, is at this time of year. I winced at the time that I couldn’t say something like that about my hometown, and then I took a second look. Along the main streets in downtown Waterbury, every light pole is decorated with green garland and a lighted wreath and red bow. The trees are strung along with lights, and the monuments and statues have various Christmas decorations surrounding them. Waterbury, CT at Christmastime is truly a sight to see.

If I can get out of Niantic with its 20" of snow I may try to get to Waterbury. It sounds nice. Enjoy the holidays.
Good luck, Philip. With what we got out here in the western part of the state, you'd be better off looking at the beautiful Christmas lights in Niantic. I'm sure they are just as nice. Hmmm....manybe if I can get out of town like that, I'll blog about the Christmas decorations all over CT...hmmm...
