This was the view I caught of the sun rising over Waterbury last week from atop Bucks Hill.
It was truly a sight to behold.
I'm glad that I had my camera ready that morning. I've always loved pictures like this, and always wondered how people managed to capture the beauty of the sun over various landscapes.
Now I know.

Absolutely beautiful. I love sunrise and sunset photos. You did a great job.
Beautiful, William. I am a big fan of the sun, coming up or going down. The photo on your blog site is incredible. I still miss New England in some ways...not winter, however. LOL

Hi William...This Connecticut Yankee (once one I guess you're always one) appreciates seeing photos of "home". Sunsets and sunrises are some of my favorites.

God bless you and yours....
Just one word - BREATHTAKING!!!
Glad you got to enjoy God's majesty.
William, AHHHHHHHH sunrises, but I think that I would have to actually have to get up real early in the morning to see one, which might be the reason why I prefer sunsets .............. LOL
