Just a look at the picture is enough to send all of bums packing in November. Seriously. And I won't even hazard a guess that it is members of both sides of the political spectrum engaging in this type of behavior.
A must see Congress picture...Suitable for framing!
This is a photo that's circulating around Connecticut taken of a voting session in our state house with the discussion being the state budget which is looking at a $ 3.5 billion dollar shortgage.
Should we buy them larger screen computers - or - a ticket home, permanently?
This is one of their THREE DAY WORK WEEKS that we all pay for. We should start from the beginning by voting out all elected officials and not letting any of them stay in office for more than two terms. No more lifelong healthcare, retirement, voting in their own pay raises, taking perks on our taxes, etc.
House Minority Leader Lawrence F. Cafero Jr. , R-Norwalk, pictured standing, far right, speaks while colleagues Rep. Barbara Lambert, D-Milford and Rep. Jack F. Hennessy, D-Bridgeport, play solitaire Monday night as the House convened to vote on a new budget. (AP)
The guy sitting in the row in front of these two.... he's on Facebook, and the guy behind Hennessy is checking out the baseball scores.
These are the folks that couldn't get the budget out by Oct. 1, and are about to control our health care, cap and trade, and the list goes on....
Do you know somebody who is behind on their mortgage and doesn't know what to do? I may be able to help them, especially if they are facing foreclosure!

Great photo!! This is a good example, of why the economy is in such bad shape. Hard to believe that these people are working hard for our country....
William it is a sad commentary on our politicians. No part of their job in the chambers requires them to be using a laptop, unless it's to get a better look at a bill and they are usually printed out for them. Thanks for the re-blog
William this is the third time that I have seen this today, and each time it looks worst. Those that run against them in November should post this on billboards around the state.
George has a great suggestion. I've never heard of any of the reps (except Cafero who talking) fooling around on my dime in the picture and wish I lived on of their districts so I could vote accordingly.
This is pretty depressing given our state of the union these days....
Don't be too hard on the politicians. They need sanity breaks, too, although it doesn't seem to help them.
