Missy Caulk did an excellent job explaining how to place your Google Map in a blog in Embedding Maps in a Post. Many people wondered, however, how to customize your maps by drawing borders or adding other features to your Google Maps. I hope that this brief video tutorial will help.

Pretty Slick,  Does Google Map have copy right rules?    I like the capability of placing the teardrop.   Too many programs have the wrong location for an address.

One of the things that I have never seen addressed, even by the great ActiveRain copyright guru herself (Lenn Harley) is that little copyright Google notice on all their maps. Do the copyright laws not apply to placing Google maps on ActiveRain?

I don't know. I am not claiming to hgave made the maps, i just use the ones I customize on my blogs. And, aren't general maps like Google a public domain? In the case of Lenn's maps, which I assume that she custom configures and draws herself and then uploads to her computer, is a different story...
