The Overlook neighborhood in Waterbury, CT is located north of the city’s center and is bordered by the Willow-Plaza neighborhood to the west, Historic Hillside to the south, Waterville to the north, and Upper Fulton Park neighborhood to the east, with Fulton Park easily accessible to its residents.


The Overlook-Waterbury, CT neighborhood is a residential area that consists of mostly single family homes, with a number of multi-family homes scattered throughout the neighborhood, and two condominium complexes, one located on Cables Avenue and the other located at the intersection of Willow and Waterville Streets.


The Overlook neighborhood of Waterbury, CT is the first planned residential neighborhood of the city, with the majority of the single family homes in the Overlook neighborhood having been built between 1900 and 1940. The houses are overwhelmingly colonial style homes, with variations dating back to the turn of the 20th century. The tree-lined streets and majestic homes gives the Overlook neighborhood a charm nowhere else to be found in the entire city.


There is one elementary school that serves the Overlook neighborhood - Kingsbury Elementary School , located at 220 Columbia Boulevard.


There is one church in the Overlook neighborhood of Waterbury, CT :

Community Tabernacle Outreach Center - located at 12 Hewlett Street. The Overlook - Waterbury, CT neighborhood is also home to the two synagogues in the city - B'nai Shalom, located at 135 Roseland Avenue; and the Yeshiva Gedolah, located at 359 Cooke Street.

George - I'm loving the videos. Can't wait to make some more with my webcam in my laptop. That's gonna be a hoot. Cal - thanks. Ann - It's only April 9th - the trees haven't gotten into full bloom yet. Tell you what - I'll add new photos when the trees have leaves. Bob did this contest a bit too early for those pictures, LOL.
