Saturday, May 29 - Fort Hill Cemetery Ceremony honoring Civil War heroes, featuring Civil War re-enactors. Location: Fort Hill Cemetery, Thomaston Avenue, Waterville. Time: 10:00 a.m.
Sunday, May 30 - Gold Star parents' luncheon. Location: VFW Post 201 on Baldwin Street Time: 11:00 a.m.
Sunday, May 30 - Memorial Day Parade. Location: Marching units will assemble on Freight Street. Viewing will take place throughout downtown Waterbury. Time: 1:00 p.m.
Sunday, May 30 - Memorial Day patriotic services. Location: Waterbury Green. Time: 2:30 p.m. For information, call (203) 597-3444 or (203) 757-0295.
Watertown Memorial Day Events:
Monday, May 31 - Annual Memorial Day Parade. Location: Starts at Watertown Plaza parking lot, proceeding on Rt. 63 S, to the Oakville Green. A ceremony will be held at the Green. Time: 10:00 am. Groups or organizations interested in marching please pick up a form at the Watertown Recreation Department or if you have any further questions please contact the Watertown Recreation Department at 945-5246.
Southbury Memorial Day Events:
Monday, May 31 – Annual Memorial Day Parade and Picnic: Location: Parade on Main Street; Picnic at Ballantine Park Time: 11:00 a.m.
