William's Places: Staying In The Press...

Staying In The Press...

Staying in the Press…

It never ceases to amaze me that in the middle of all the turbulence of life that so many people continue to not only survive, but thrive.

I do honestly believe that the reason that this is so is simply because those who do have a goal in mind, and a plan to reach that goal. Furthermore, because they have that goal firmly fixed in their mind, they will let nothing keep them from achieving it.

Such tenacity, such drive, means that one consistently presses their way towards their goal. Obstacles will come, but they remain in the press…delays come, but they stay in the press…failures occur, but they stay in the press…disappointments come, but they stay in the press…

When those leads don’t quite pan out, do you give up, or do you stay in the press? When that offer gets countered, do you throw in the towel, or do you stay in the press? When you are passed over after a listing appointment for another agent, do you stay in the press and move on to the next appointment?

In order to succeed in this business, it is imperative that you stay in the press….

This week’s Scripture: Philippians 3:14 (New Living Translation)

14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.

Let us not forget the "Full Court" press as well, if you can reach your goal through that you are guaranteed to succeed.

With March Madness only a week away the full court press is timely. And persistence is always timely.

Nice Post!  Thank goodness you weren't talking about ironing or I would definitely not press onward!

William great advice.  No matter what we need to move on and focus on what is a head of us.  The more time that we spend on "pity parties" to longer it will take us to be where we need to be.

Awesome word! When we dream with God, really dream His dream for us, we then have a destiny. The 4 D's then come in between, disappointment, discouragement, distractions and delays. When we focus on the fact that the destiny He has given us by dreaming His dream is inevitable.... We must press on ... the key to breakthrough is always follow through. Very well said, thank you.

Excellent message, William.  I know that you & I 'stay in the press' although I never called it the press.  Good analogy

Just because we hear "no", it does not mean forever. No relationship you make is a throw-away.  Whether it is in business, social media, ord day-to-day living, "No" Just means,"no not now!".

William, thank you for inspiring message. It is so easy to become overwhelmed by all responsibilities and disappointments in our daily lives. Thank you for reminding us that we need to keep our goal in mind at all times and do not give up. Have a fabulous weekend.

What a great message to pass on William.  Reminds me that it's not how many times we get knocked down.  It's how many times we get back up!
